Shaping the future, together

With India poised at the threshold of a historic national resurgence, excellence in education is a critical national priority.

AŚVA is a unique initiative that leverages the power of partnerships to enable schools to turn the promise of NEP 2020 into visible, lasting change.

It connects forward-looking schools with leading national institutions in science, technology, and enterprise, giving them access to learning resources, real-world perspectives, and proven teaching and evaluation frameworks.

Structured around Hub Schools and Node Schools, AŚVA develops early models of excellence that are tested, refined, and shared, enabling schools to advance with clarity and confidence.

A vision shaped by some of the top minds of our nation

The vision and goals of AŚVA are rooted in the thinking of the late Dr K. Kasturirangan, whose work and leadership were instrumental in shaping the ideas that later informed the National Education Policy 2020. The project's ongoing evolution is actively supported by distinguished leaders from India's science and technology community, including Dr Madhavan Nair, former Chairman of ISRO, ensuring continuity of thought and purpose.

Ancient beginning, future minds

AŚVA, meaning horse in Sanskrit, has long been a symbol of movement, strength, and leadership. For the alliance, it represents purposeful advancement.

The stylised leaping horse draws inspiration from India's ancient rock art traditions, including sites such as Bhimbetka, among the earliest expressions of knowledge and learning anywhere in the world.

As India stands at a moment of renewed confidence and possibility, the AŚVA brand connects this deep legacy of learning with a forward-looking vision of educational leadership.
